Nani Marquina studied industrial design at Escola Massana and worked as an independent textile designer before creating her own company and showroom in Barcelona in 1986. A superb colorist, nanimarquina creates her own vivid rugs.
Her latest series of contemporary area rugs, Collection Dots, draws on basic, over-sized patterns of dots or stripes in unusual color combinations.
